An ordinary life was never the goal.

I grew up in a small town and left home at seventeen with little more than a desire to build a different life. That journey led me to the United States Marine Corps, where I worked on helicopters, and eventually into years of chasing dreams, launching businesses, failing, running out of money, sleeping in vans, and learning lessons that success could never teach.

Along the way came revelations that reshaped both my life and my faith. The greatest of them all was an encounter with Jesus Christ. After fifteen years of alcoholism, I surrendered my life to Him. From that moment on, my direction changed. It wasn't always easier, but it was no longer mine alone.

Following His leading took me back to school, where I earned a master's degree in accounting from the University of Michigan. That path opened the door to a career in public accounting and CPA firms, but I eventually realized it wasn't the life I was being called to build.

So I walked away.

Today, I travel the world with a camera, explore beneath the ocean's surface, tell stories through film, and pursue the extraordinary beauty hidden in people, places, and everyday moments. My work is no longer about climbing a career ladder—it's about documenting a life of adventure, faith, and purpose while helping others discover the same.
